Lovely stay- but the hotel has to step up if they want to be top notch.
Beautiful setting, rooms and spa are nice. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was great.
General areas have very little light and too much furniture- tables too narrow. Outside not prepared with cushions- or only very sparingly and hence not very welcoming. Seemed more like a furniture shop than a luxury hotel.

A brilliant stay for a luxury holiday on the Côte d’Azur. Chateau near the beach, with a pool.
Amazing hotel and a great stay! Château de Valmer has a great location on the Côte d’Azur. There is a relaxing pool area with sun beds. Easy beach access, with a walk through the vines. The hotel service was friendly, and they serve great rosé wine which is grown on the estate! The rooms are both comfortable and clean. The gardens and the chateau are very pretty.
Drinks/bar pricing is extortionate.

Exceptional
Would've been happier with a more extensive breakfast, more egg options, etc... Otherwise everything else was absolutely perfect at the hotel.
